Our first ever Ramadan Iftar brought together a diverse group of community members, professionals, and supporters for an evening rooted in faith, connection, and shared purpose. Guests gathered to break their fast, build meaningful connections, and gain deeper insight into the life-changing work of Unity Family Services.
The evening was enriched by reflections from Shaykh Amer Jamil, who reminded attendees of the importance of strengthening families and supporting those in crisis within our own communities. His words set a powerful tone of compassion, responsibility, and action.
We were humbled by the generosity shown on the night, with significant pledges made in support of our work. These contributions will directly enable us to continue providing vital, culturally and faith-sensitive support to individuals and families in need.
Beyond fundraising, the event created space for genuine connection — bringing together people united by a desire to make a difference. From meaningful conversations to a shared meal, the evening reflected the strength and generosity of our community.
We are deeply grateful to all who attended, contributed, and supported. Together, we are helping save lives at home.
