As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting and informing our community, Unity Family Services, in collaboration with Amina MWRC, hosted the final workshop in their ‘Commitment to Closure’ series. This important session, led by Shaykh Amer Jamil, offered a deep and nuanced exploration of Islamic divorce, including the Triple Talaq and women’s rights in divorce. 

Over 50 women joined us for this impactful evening, creating a warm and engaging space for learning and discussion. With delicious refreshments provided by Pakora Shack and the option to submit questions anonymously, attendees were able to explore sensitive topics in a safe, welcoming environment. Feedback from participants highlighted how valuable and reassuring the session was.
